Why I Am an OB/GYN With the Advanced Delivery Unit
Delivering a baby and being present when a family meets their child for the first time is a privilege. Helping to make that experience joyful and memorable, especially when families face unexpected challenges, is deeply rewarding. I am grateful to be part of a team that provides compassionate, high-quality care to support families through every step of this life-changing journey.
What I'm Passionate About
I’m deeply committed to working with patients to ensure they receive the best care in an environment where they are comfortable and supported. This goes beyond medical care — it involves meaningful conversations with each patient to understand what matters most to them during their hospital stay, how our team can best support their needs, and how to address any unique concerns they may have. It also means educating patients on what to expect throughout the process, and it means fostering a partnership that allows us to evaluate and make decisions together, especially over the course of labor and delivery.
When I’m not at work, I love running, Peloton classes, and cooking.
How I Try to Make A Difference
The care that patients receive is shaped not only by their healthcare team, but also by policies and systems established at state and federal levels. I try to make a difference by regularly meeting with legislators to discuss how current policies impact patients and to advocate for laws that improve access to timely, high-quality care. I’m especially committed to supporting legislation that expands access to women’s healthcare, ensuring that all patients have access to the care they need and deserve.
